Southern Inspired Summer Wedding at The Herb Garden
It was a perfect August day and I was at The Herb Garden, in the middle of setting up for Stephanie and Ryan's wedding, when the groom showed up holding a piece of wood. He apologized that it might not go well with the wedding design but then he told me that he had saved that piece of wood from the first time he and Stephanie went camping together and that he wanted to surprise her with it during their reception because even way back then, he knew.
Their whole wedding day was full of adorable, romantic details like that, paired with a gorgeous dose of southern charm. The Herb Garden in Almonte was the perfect setting for their southern inspired wedding with its lush green fields, scattered wild flowers, and Stephanie and Ryan's adorable dog lumbering about with a go-pro.
The groom looked handsome in a Niagara blue suit with soft pink and peach accents, while the groomsmen complimented in a dark navy. The bride stunned in a strapless gown with lace floral detailing, while her bridesmaids rocked dresses in varying styles and gorgeous shades of peachy-blush.
Stephanie and Ryan married outdoors under a stunning birch arch covered in the sweetest array of summer blooms, while close family members gently strummed their acoustic guitars and bubbles danced around them with the wind.
Flowers were one of the most important aesthetic details for Stephanie so their day was filled with stunning arrangements. From loose, hand-tied bouquets, to adornments on their arch and welcome sign, and delicate bud vases scattered all across their tables, the wedding was a sea of sweet garden roses, ranunculus and dahlias in the softest pastels. To complete the southern, chic vibe, the tables were finished with soft blush napkins laid atop gold charger plates, and the sweetest peach place cards.
